Notice of  Electric Vehicle Indonesia 2021 Re-Postponement due to Covid-19 Development

As a result of the continuous instability which is confronting the world in the light of COVID-19 pandemic, GEM Indonesia takes it seriously that it is our obligation to guarantee the event to take place under the best excellent conditions.

GEM Indonesia decided to re-schedule the Electric Vehicle Indonesia.
New date will be held on August 25 – 27, 2021 at JIExpo Kemayoran Jakarta.

However, to cope with the needs of interaction between suppliers and customers, GEM is committed to hold the Virtual Exhibition which will be held on March 24 – 25, 2021. The exhibitors can meet, connecting with buyers and stay ahead for automotive industries through new era called digital platform.

EV Indonesia 2021 is a sub-event of INAPA that focused on Electric Vehicle, Technologies, Component and EV Manufacturing Solutions. The show will be held in JIExpo, Jakarta at 25 – 27 August 2021. EV Indonesia presents an opportunity to feature the latest trend and technology for Electric Vehicle Manufacturing solutions including battery, electrical power trains, components, IT systems, material, equipment and services. The expo ensures that the right national and international players exhibit their technology and products to the right audience, which are manufacturers, owner, operators, consultants, government, distributor, trader, and other related with EV business.

Indonesia has set 20% Electric Vehicle (EV) by 2025

Indonesia, South-East Asia’s largest economy has announced its target to produce more electric vehicles (EV). Indonesia sets an ambitious target on the adoption of electric vehicles with 2.1 million e-motorcycles and 400,000 e-cars (20% of all locally manufactured cars) expected to take the road by 2025. At present the government is preparing fiscal infrastructure and facilities to support the effort to enter the electric motor vehicle industry.



Electric vehicles are becoming more prominent in Indonesia since the government echoed making Indonesia 4.0 and almost all the transportation industry is heading towards the electric vehicles. This program gets a positive impression from many circles ranging and it will be the program of the Indonesian government until 2025. To support the program, GEM Indonesia presents a marketplace for suppliers and manufacturers who have started to produce the electric vehicles or supporting components from electric vehicles.

Applying For Visas Before Arrival.

Citizens of countries not included on a Visa-Free or Visa-On-Arrival (VOA) list must apply for a visa overseas before arriving in Indonesia. Citizens of any country wishing to stay more than 30 days must also apply for an appropriate visa at the their nearest Indonesian Embassy or Consulate before traveling to Indonesia.
