The Minister of Industry revealed that until now automotive industry in the country is still one of the manufacturing sub-sectors that makes a brilliant contribution to the national industry. Exports of automotive products for four-wheeled or more motorized vehicles including components in January-April 2021 period were recorded at Rp. 29.88 trillion, around Rp. 18.63 trillion of which were exports of Completely Build Up (CBU) vehicles from Indonesia to more than 80 countries.
“The production performance of R4 motorized vehicles or more for January to May 2021 was recorded at 413,000 units, and sales (wholesales) of 320 thousand units,” he said. To boost the sales of domestic motorized vehicles, Government bornes on Luxury Goods (PPnBM-DTP) until December 31, 2021 for KBM R4 with engine capacity up to 2,500 CC.
Based on the evaluation result, the PPnBM DTP relaxation policy slowly increase the sales of motorized vehicles stipulated in the regulation. Total sales until the period of June 2021 have reached 167,774 units.
“This is certainly have a positive impact on the recovery of the automotive industry sector which has a wide multiplier effect for other industrial sectors so that in the end it will be able to jumpstart of the national economy,” he said.
Currently, there are 21 four-wheeled motorized vehicle or more with an investment value of IDR 71.35 trillion for a production capacity of 2.35 million units per year, and absorbs 38 thousand direct workers, and more than 1.5 million people working along the industry value chain.
Menperin mengungkapkan, hingga saat ini industri otomotif di tanah air masih menjadi salah satu satu subsektor manufaktur yang memberikan kontribusi gemilang pada industri nasional. Ekspor produk otomotif untuk kendaraan bermotor roda empat atau lebih termasuk, komponen pada periode Januari-April 2021 tercatat sebesar Rp29,88 triliun, sekitar Rp18,63 triliun di antaranya merupakan ekspor kendaraan Completely Build Up (CBU) dari Indonesia ke lebih dari 80 negara.
“Kinerja produksi kendaraan bermotor R4 atau lebih periode Januari sampai dengan Mei 2021 tercatat sebesar 413 ribu unit, dan penjualan (wholesales) sebesar 320 ribu unit,” tuturnya.Dalam rangka mendorong penjualan kendaraan bermotor produksi dalam negeri, pemerintah telah memberikan relaksasi Pajak Penjualan atas Barang Mewah Ditanggung Pemerintah (PPnBM-DTP) sampai dengan 31 Desember 2021 untuk KBM R4 dengan kapasitas mesin sampai dengan 2.500 CC.
Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, secara perlahan kebijakan relaksasi PPnBM DTP mulai meningkatkan penjualan jenis kendaraan bermotor yang ditetapkan dalam aturan tersebut. Total penjualan hingga periode Juni 2021 telah mencapai 167.774 unit.
“Hal ini tentunya akan berdampak positif bagi pemulihan sektor industri otomotif yang memiliki multiplier efek yang cukup luas bagi sektor industri lainnya sehingga pada akhir akan mampu men-jumpstart perekonomian nasional,” tandasnya.
Saat ini tercatat ada 21 perusahaan industri kendaraan bermotor roda empat atau lebih yang ada di Indonesia dengan nilai investasi sebesar Rp71,35 triliun untuk kapasitas produksi sebesar 2,35 juta unit per tahun, dan menyerap tenaga kerja langsung sebesar 38 ribu orang, serta lebih dari 1,5 juta orang yang bekerja di sepanjang rantai nilai industri tersebut.
