INAPA 2023 target to attract 35,000 visitors from 40 countries

Heaptalk, Jakarta – Indonesia Carrosseries Association (ASKARINDO) together with Global Expo Management – as promotor – is poised to hold international automotive spare part event the 12th INAPA on 24 – 26 May, 2023. The ASEAN’s largest international trade fair for automotive industries, Electric vehicle ecosystem, logistics, buses, and trucks is estimated to attract over 35,000 visitors from 40 countries.

“This event is critical as it can be a place to promote carrosserie products, buses, trucks, and other transportation products, as well as the component industry, and opening opportunities for further cooperation,“ stated Somi Lumajeng, Indonesia Carrosseries Association (ASKARINDO).

INAPA 2023 will be organized in conjunction with INABIKE 2023, Lube Indonesia 2023, EV Indonesia 2023, Tyre & Rubber Indonesia 2023, INAFASTENER 2023, Transport & Logistics Indonesia 2023, Forklift Indonesia 2023, CON-MINE Indonesia 2023, Indonesia International Bus, Truck, and Component Exhibition (IIBT) 2023. For this reason, the expo becomes the most comprehensive automotive and transportation exhibition.

Taking place at JIEXPO Kemayoran Jakarta, the B2B expo is claimed will be bigger than the former expo by involving 1,000 participants from 21 countries. The exhibitors will be scattered in nine halls to showcase various automotive spare parts products, electric vehicles (EV) technology, logistics, forklifts, buses, and trucks.

“Previously, it was only 500 companies that participate in this event, but ASEAN 2023 Summit, which makes Indonesia becomes the talk of the world, brought a great impact on this expo. For this reason, the number of exhibitors soared to 1,000 participants,” stated President Director of GEM Indonesia, Baki Lee during INAPA press conference on Wednesday. (05/10)

Baki explained, “Due to the increase in exhibitor’s number, we should expand the exhibition space, from 1 hall to 9 halls. Among these exhibitors, 30% of participants are local companies, while the rest derive from ASEAN – such as Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand – and China, Taiwan, Korea.”

Moreover, the spare part companies will dominate 60% of the exhibition, followed by EV technology with 20% of the total exhibitors. Baki delivered that this event is expected to bridge the business collaboration between local and foreign companies and increase awareness of the importance of the use of EVs.
